To ensure we fully support all our members no matter size or specialism, we have sub-sector groups which focus on key areas of industry. It is the ideal group for anyone wanting to build relationships and business in the nuclear supply chain. Heavily endorsed by Sellafield and LLWR the group meets on average 4 times a year to get industry updates and network with others across the nuclear supply chain. We found the connections made through networking invaluable. This group aims to meet 4 times a year and share news in between of supply chain opportunities, and how members are achieving their carbon reduction goals.
Want to get involved? How about host a meeting, or share your news of your work in the clean energy sector. Whilst many of them do work across the clean energy supply chain, most expand much wider across other sectors too offering a great chance to collaborate, network and learn more about wider opportunities. This group meets quarterly with an expo on an annual basis to showcase talent. Meeting monthly, this group is for anyone wanting to give back, with a current focus on the youth of Cumbria and developing employer engagement for local students.
Come to a meeting, suggest a workshop topic, host an event or simply share good practice. As a business owner and a personal development coach I feel I have much to give to this group, whether it be exploring ideas or volunteering my time into meetings and activities at our local schools and have found my time with this group to be very rewarding.
Go to one of the school engagement events and help demonstrate to local students the opportunities available to them. We hold over 40 events a year ensuring there is something for everyone and plenty of opportunities for networking and making valuable industry introductions. Our credibility as a cluster comes from our members in businesses both big and small, and our connections with other organisations, including government in Westminster.

The variety of content, courses and information sharing provided by the Board and other volunteers is exceptionally good. The cluster is run by a board of 8 volunteers from across the Energy Industry and its supply chain, all bringing their own set of skills and knowledge to the membership.
